How to choose the most suited Creative Kits Presets?

How do you choose your Lightroom presets? How do you maintain a consistent theme for all your Instagram photos? These are questions I get asked every day, and today I'm going to answer them!

First of all, a preset is a set of 45 pre-recorded settings (temperatures, colours, shadows, etc.) that provide precise editing and can be applied to all your photos. They allow you to edit your photos with a single click and perfectly harmonise your feed!

They are often used for Instagram photos, but work for all your photos!

Think about the colours of your feed.

The first step is to think about the tones and mood you want to give your feed. There are lots of different feeds: cool, warm, orangey, very colourful, black; white, etc. It's up to you to decide which dominant colour you prefer!

Fun fact: A blue feed attracts more likes than other colours. Red and orange tend to attract 24% fewer likes than images with a blue colour scheme. We're not entirely sure about this information...

Think about the content

Not all presets are suitable for all types of photos. There are presets for every type of content: lifestyle photos, interior design, food, fashion, travel, etc. The idea is to think about the content you want to share on a daily basis!

Get inspired

I recommend checking out the feeds of influencers you follow regularly and seeing what style you like.

Choosing the right presets

If you want to publish interior design photos, I recommend using fairly neutral presets that do not distort the basic colours. Our special Deco preset collection is perfect for you!
